CLIENT SERVICES CONSULTANT – ASSIGNMENT MANAGEMENT

Houston, TX

 

As a Client Services Consultant you will be responsible for managing the door-to-door shipping and assignment management relocation services for corporate assignees. The job role will require you to develop a relationship with the company’s existing clients, proactively managing their international relocations and global assignments in a fast-paced environment. You will act as a point of contact for both assignees and HR teams, and be accountable for shipping and assignment management relocation services throughout individual relocations- presenting quotations, booking third party shipping and relocation vendors, confirming schedules and retaining contact. Outstanding communication and customer service skills are absolutely vital.

Duties include:

  • Managing, and being accountable for a caseload of HHG and assignment management relocation services for corporate accounts
  • Implementing and adhering to the company's clearly defined processes to ensure consistency in services
  • Updating the technology platform and delivering high quality data to our clients
  • Researching, communicating, and ensuring that customs requirements and restrictions are adhered to for international relocations
  • Co-ordinating and managing third party partners- reserving, booking, and auditing services provided by the partners
  • Proactively communicating with assignees, colleagues, and shipping/relocation vendors
  • Developing relationships with our clients, assignees, and shipping/relocation vendors
  • Building an in-depth knowledge of assigned clients’ policies, cultures, and service requirements
  • Preparing reports for clients and colleagues

  • Experience within the relocation industry coordinating household goods and/or assignment management relocation services
