Director, Regional Sales

Virtual – Southeastern US

 

The Director of Regional Sales will market global products and services to corporate prospects in their designated territory, as well as effectively identify and market to and engage prospects/clients within that assigned territory.  This role requires that sales goals and objectives, within the business plan, are accomplished within prescribed time frames through new and expanded client relationships. 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Actively market and effectively manage an assigned territory for new prospect/client development; targeting key cities/states within the specified territory for maximum sales production
  • Sell and position a broad range of relocation services from global assignment management services to transactional transportation services
  • Meet or exceed annual individual sales goals and objectives within the prescribed time frame,
  • Ensure participation in all targeted RFP’s for in scope services
  • Collaborate across departments to develop and execute comprehensive expanded sales campaigns that drive awareness and create urgency within the marketplace
  • Partner and support the development of corporate leads and sales activity
  • Manage daily and weekly business development activities, pipelines, forecasts and closed opportunities to ensure planned results based on successful pipeline management through the companies CRM System
  • Participate in specified relocation conferences on national, regional and local basis
  • Work closely with Marketing Department in leading proposals, presentations, RFPs and other collateral materials as required
  • Travel to support marketplace activity and company requirements
  • Develop and maintain a positive and professional working relationship with all members of the team, customers, clients and service partners
  • Accepts additional job assignments and participates in project work as requested
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures as outlined in the employee manual and policy and procedures manuals

 

Required Job Skills:

  • Demonstrated Sales, Business and Market development skills required
  • Ability to network effectively, build branding  through high engagement with regional/ local ERC chapters and similar organizations
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret prospective client relocation policies and contract documents
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for collaborating with prospect contacts and others as appropriate
  • Must have ability to effectively present information to senior management, prospects, and/or public groups
  • Highly customer service oriented/driven interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize and re-prioritize as situations and needs change throughout the workday
  • Ability to multi-task and organize workflow to meet deadlines and prioritize work
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and related appropriate programs and software
  • Demonstrated ability to work across cultures

·         College degree or equivalent work experience required

·         Minimum five to seven years business development experience with a relocation management company, mobility consulting company or equivalent experience

·         Proven track record of developing prospects and securing new clients

·         Prior familiarity with assigned territory

·         Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals 

·         Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization

·         Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume

·         Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry

·         Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form

·         Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations

·         Knowledge of MS Word,  MS Excel  and Outlook

·         CRP/GMS designation required as appropriate
