SENIOR GLOBAL MOBILITY MANAGER

Our client is seeking an individual for a new role to lead and supervise a growing Global Mobility Team that facilitates the movement of our client’s talent around the world.  This team provides end to end support for our international assignee population, including assignment life cycle activities for short and long term assignments and international business travel; research, consultation and advice for HR teams and senior business leaders; vendor selection and administration; and other related activities. 

 

Core Component of This Role:

  • Coaching, mentoring and leading the team of individuals that provide the day to day assignment support across multiple internal businesses and customers
  • Partnering with business HR teams, senior business leaders and other internal business customers for a robust understanding of their business needs in order to proactively develop and improve tools, metrics, guidelines and processes to better support their assignment activities
  • Reviewing, creating, implementing and owning global assignment guidelines and strategies, including utilizing benchmarking and best practices. 
  • Owning the team’s vendor administration, including selection, negotiation, management and coaching.
  • Providing audit and oversight to the team’s activities and processes, ensuring that pertinent internal and external compliance and government interaction standards are met
  • Implementing and leveraging technology that best fits our program and needs

Work Experience/ Skills Required

  • 6+ years progressive work experience
  • 5+ years global mobility and/or relocation experience, which includes robust knowledge about managing and delivering a global mobility program.
  • Substantial experience leading a small to medium sized team.
  • Previous experience proactively partnering and providing solutions to internal business customers
  • Previous experience developing and utilizing metrics and dashboards
  • Proven superior communication skills and the ability to influence stakeholders across all levels at the organization
  • Proven ability to challenge the status quo, find creative solutions, and think proactively in order to make changes to current processes and practices across all levels of the organization

Work Experience/ Skills Preferred

  • Work experience in a complex multi-national corporation is preferred.
  • Open to occasional international travel

Education Required

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or Business Related Field
