Our Client, a leading global Relocation Management firm is seeking to expand the Sales Team with high performing, strategic, passionate sales professionals to continue the dynamic expansion of the global footprint of the organization.  The Vice President, Sales & Business Development would preferably be located in the Midwestern states (IL, MO, WI, MN, IN, etc.).  The organization delivers a global comprehensive employee relocation management suite of services to global organizations, Fortune 500 corporations and Federal Government.  The position is a remote position reporting to the Senior Vice President, Global Sales & Business.  The Vice President position is responsible for global sales and business development activities intended to secure corporate relocation contracts for the organization.

POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for identifying and pursuing business development opportunities and selling the Company’s services to increase revenue.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Conducts research and identifies appropriate sales prospects within assigned sales region.

Establishes and maintains relationships with strong prospects and existing clients within assigned sales region.

Takes an active role in the transitional process when bringing new clients on board.

Takes a leadership role in developing, writing, and delivery of proposals, especially relating to “specialized” bid situations.

Tracks all activities and prospect updates in sales database.

Coordinates and leads sales presentations to prospects as necessary.

Participates in Company functions designed to educate employees and clients.

Uses Company resources to the greatest extent possible to ensure a professional, unified appearance and to avoid presenting conflicting or unclear sale messages.

Demonstrates knowledge of, and supports, the company vision and value statements, policies and procedures, confidentiality standards and code of ethical behavior.

Achieves annual activity and revenue objectives as established by the company.

Position may require travel of 50% or more of work hours.

EDUCATION:

Must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or related field.

TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Must have thorough knowledge of relocation services, industry policies and practices, as well as best practices in sales and business development. Must have specific knowledge of Company’s services.
  • Ability to understand client’s needs and address those needs with appropriate service offerings, particularly in the development of proposals and pricing documents.
  • Ability to work under stress, interruptions and deadlines.
  • Exercise independent judgment to determine work goals, follow-through, and completion.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.  Proof of the abilities will be reviewed during the interview process. 

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

  • College degree + 5-7 years of leadership in business development for a multi-million-dollar growth organization.
  • Relocation Industry experience REQUIRED
  • Experience selling outsourcing services to Fortune 2000 companies.
